Lightning port replaced, still doesn’t charge

iPhone 8 does not recognize headphones or charger but will hold a charge when placed on wireless charger. Headphones and power cord are new and work with other devices. Charge port is not dirty since it is new. The phone does turn on when plugged in, but again, no charge and can’t use headphones.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

When you plug it in into the computer does the computer recognize the phone?

@barriphone it does not recognize the phone when plugged into the computer

It could be a bad connection on the charging port and motherboard, like Chris said you cou have knocked off a resistor, diode, ect when you changed the charging port. It could Also have a bad tristar ic which controls charging and data transfer, a shop can test the tristar and it will only take a minute and they probably won't charge you.

You probably purchased a faulty charge port or was this why you changed it to start with? Other than that it could be pry damage on one or more components. I would check under magnification to see if any have been nudged or knocked off.
