Why did my true tone go away after logic board replacement

is there any way to fix this with a jcid tool. thanks in advance

Hello Ariel,

Replacing a screen or a motherboard will cause your True Tone to go away since both the logic board and screen for iPhone 8 and above are married together. Now I believe there are 2 types of JC programmer out there. One will read the ID off your old screen and transfer it to your new screen. The other one does not require the old screen to be present but requires a special screen (not 100% sure about that). Either way both cost a good bit of money, it might be easier to find reputable independent repair shop and ask them if you could use their JC programmer.
