iPhone suddenly unable to read battery health and randomly reboots

Just happened a few minutes ago. The iphone was hot to the touch, so I put it on my table while listening to music, a few moments later i hear my earbuds say disconnected, when i checked my phone it was on the apple logo. I continued using for a minute and then it rebooted. After that I went to check battery health and it says “service, iphone is unable to determine battery health. ( earlier this year I bought two new batteries for my phone the brand was called brand is HDCKU ) . So i have another iphone se that isnt used with the other battery and switched them. I then hard resetted my main iphone se but it still said service. My other se said battery capacity is at 100% on both batteries. Im thinking the heat might have damaged my main iphone se. What do I do?

The phone getting hot and not being able to read the information from the battery would point to the Tigris IC it is part of the charging circuit and will require a repair shop that offers microsoldering. For the SE it would probably be cheaper to upgrade.

It sounds like a bad battery. Where did you buy the batteries from? I would recommend getting a quality battery.
