MacBook Pro Completely Dead

Last night, I turned off my Mac and didn’t charge for the night. When I woke up this morning, the computer was somehow completely dead and did not show the no power sign. So I plugged it in and I heard the fans keep starting is if it’s trying to start up. That lasted for 2 seconds, then there was a pause, and then kept happening over and over. Is there any way I can fix it myself? Thanks!

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hold down the POWER button for 10 seconds to turn it off. Sounds like you might need to do a SMC reset: https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT201295

yes try SMC reset, if you cant get that far Make sure your charger is good!

i’ve had multiple customers come in thinking machine was dead and it was actually their charger or battery.

Watch the light on the charger when the computer tries to boot up. Is it turning off with the computer? if so try another charger.
