What is the ease of replacing the hard drive?

My hard drive is starting to make some funny noises on boot-up. I’m not hearing the dread clicking yet, but I’ve had this for almost 5 years and the laptop itself is well-traveled. Is it feasible to replace the hard-drive with something else (Preferably SSD because GAMING SPEEDS), or is it time to upgrade to a new device and responsibly retire this one?

Hi Rachel,

Yes quite feesible to replace hard drive. An SSD will make it seem like new.
