What do I need to do exactly to replace keyboard?

No specific guide, just looking through other QAs and videos. But can someone clarify something…

I’m following the MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display Early 2015 Logic Board Replacement Logic board replacement guide… but they removed the heatsink.

I do NOT need to do this if I just want to replace the keyboard right?

Is there anything else in the guide I should not need to do for keyboard replace? I’m trying to make this as simple as possible.

Once I removed the logic board, other board, fan… It’s a matter of peeling the backlight off gently, and then using some force to remove the old keyboard…

And from what I understand, the old keyboard rivets will come off mostly revealing screw holes to screw down the new keyboard?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Since late 2012 Keyboards on Apple Laptops are not easy to remove anymore, that is the reason why you don’t find a good guide because to do a clean and good job you have to replace the entire middle frame/housing for a new one with keyboard included.

Now if you have time and you want to save money you can remove the keyboard and install a new one. Youtube Tutorial in the minute 30 and up you can see how the keyboard is attached to the middle frame, if you want a solid job you have to be creative.
