SD card doesn't stay connected during normal use.

While using my system, any pressure from the top or bottom of the lower part of the 2DS near the SD card slot will prompt a message saying it was removed. My left hand caused this while pushing buttons, and even when I am careful to be gentle. The 12 month warranty has expired, so should I take it apart and see what’s wrong?
