How do I factory reset my power mac g4 med from the login screen?

My parents got this like 5+ years ago and I got it to turn on but the problem is that it stops me at the login screen. I saw many video on how to factory reset but it do not help.

I have a iMac g4 and it has a password but I’m kinda stuck cuase I can’t reboot it because it was from a school and it says in the login screen “Mac OS X teacher websites” and I don’t have any disc

Options

When you boot are you holding command+r to go into recovery mode and restore? Or are you trying to keep all of the data
