lost reverse in Benz automatic
1976 240D diesel automatic , I have lost reverse gear. Could this be a simple band adjustment or sticky solenoid problem?

All it is , was a loose jam nut allowing the adj screw to back out. To repair… the screw is on the RF outside of the trans case, screw adj. screw in, then back out 3/4 turn, tighten jam nut. job complete!
