Exactly what the topic says. My iPod 4th Generation 32gb recently started doing this. Im wondering if there's problems with the logic board or if its the lcd its self? The lcd works perfectly fine. But when its being charged it just shuts off the back light. Also when it's not being charged the screen flickers and dims.

It's most likely the connector from the LCD being loose and not firmly attached. When plugging them in it usually is supposed to make 2 clicks snapping it into place.
To clarify, the LCD ribbon connecting to the logic board is what I'm talking about.

Yeah, it's in all the way. I was just wondering if i bent pins or something? cause when its not being charged the black light works fine
