Hello, your engine may have gummed up fuel in the carburetor. When you leave fuel in an engine for more than about 2-3 months, the ethanol that is added to gasoline nowadays easily breaks down and turns the combustable gas into gummy junk that won’t ignite. The best way to resolve this issue is by having somebody who owns an Ultrasonic Carburetor Cleaner to remove your carb and then let it sit in the cleaner for a while. After it has been in for a while, simply take it out, drain the old gas in the tank, pour new gasoline in, and re-install the carburetor. This should resolve your issue. If it still won’t start, try replacing the spark plug. Spark testers only test if a spark is being created at the ignition module and traveling to the plug, not if it is being released in the cylinder.

Hope this helps!
