iPhone X not charging after battery replacement

I successfully replaced my battery with ifixit battery. When i turned it on it was at around 50%. I drained the battery to 10% then tried charging it, i saw the charging icon then left it alone. I checked back on it after an hour and it’s still at 10%. I used an original ipad charger i bought from an apple store with the cable tha came with my iphone x. I also tried using my iphone 11 pro max charger and cable and still does the same. How do i fix this. Thanks in advance

Try the old battery and see if it works then. It's a possibility that you got a defective battery. You can also try unhooking the battery and letting it reset. There is a very small possibility that you have a bad tristar ic and it could stop it from charging.

Unfortunately, i have disposed of the battery. Now, i have tried unhooking the battery and hooked it back it in but it’s still not charging

Allan is correct, most likely your battery is defect.
