New battery doing strange things
So, I've replaced my old battery as it was getting to 80% capacity. After calibrating the new battery for the 1st time, the capacity reached 75% and the charger then shut off and wouldn't charge anymore. So I thought I'd try the calibration again and this time the charge reached 85% before the charger shut off.
I'm gonna try another calibration now but who knows what will happen this time!
Any ideas what could be happening?
EDIT: images from coconut with and without charger. after the 3rd calibration attempt, the max is now 68%!

Cheers Dan. Ok will do. I've just completely depleted the battery so gonna charge it now until it stops charging and then i'll upload the screenshots
Is this a good question?
Lets get a view of things install this gem of an app CoconutBattery lets get a snapshot of apps main window once with the MagSafe connected and a second time with it disconnected and the battery is not fully charged ~80% Post both here for us to see Adding images to an existing question

as a side note....the percentages were all over the place while discharging. it's now been 7% for about 20 mins with moderate usage which isn't normal.

@Salvatore Mirabile - Lets clean the MagSafe connector use a cotton swab and 85% or better isopropyl alcohol. Reference this Apple T/N Apple Portables: Troubleshooting MagSafe adapters

that's the first thing i did before my second calibration. by the way, I'm still at 7%
another thing i noticed was when the battery goes flat, i don't get the dead battery symbol anymore but instead the MacBook tried to actually boot but then fails due to the battery being almost flat. getting stranger!
