Thin white adhesive around the rear glass panel?

I recently had my phone replaced by Apple, twice now due to factory defects, but on the latest one everything seems to be fine with the exception of this very thin white line around some sections of the edge of where the glass meets the metal frame. Is there any way to clean this off or improve this?

That glue is hard as a rock and needs to be chipped off. I would take it back to apple and complain. This phone doesn't sound like a new phone but a refurbished phone, and it looks like they didn't do as good job. I would make Apple replace it or live with it. But if I paid 1,100 plus dollars I would expect it to be perfect.

Honestly agree with you, I just didn’t want to have to go back to Apple again, but the money stings… So far this is the story: First phone (original)? Charging port randomly died - but data portion worked fine. Second phone (replacement)? Weird nicks in the glass and steel frame. Third phone (replacement of the replacement)? Has this gooey glue residue that looks whitish all around the glass on the back…

After the original phone they give you a refurbished phone. When you turned in your original phone they take it to a repair shop and they replace the charging port and resell it or trade it for warranty repairs.
