No it doesn't, that phone case doesn't have anything in it. Do power switche, no volume switch. Ifixit sell the case with small parts in it like the charging coil and switches. If they don't have it available fixez.com carrys them.you will need to transfer everything from the old phone to the new case.

It appears not to contain the coil as I don’t see the cable and connector leading from the coil which connects to the logic board exiting from the unshielded area. Here’s an x-ray view of the iPhone 8

Here’s a view of the iPhone 8 Plus cable as its just a better angle pic vs the iPhone 8 its the same design across both

And lastly here is what the coil looks like, again this is a different iPhone as its the only one the coil was removed in the teardown’s from an iPhone X

Note the copper foil that carries the RF shielding over the coil protecting the logic board from stray signals. The Blue covering on your part is to protect the surface from dirt and oils so the shield makes a good electrical connection. And the exposed lip of the metal shell is not visible in the finished part like yours.

I would return it as its useless in this state.

I damaged my coil when replacing the battery. Can I disconnect the wireless charger coil from the motherboard without taking all the components out as I’m happy not to have it connected. I just can’t use my phone while the damaged coil is connected as it boot loops.
