Tape thickness for this display?

I’m replacing the display cable and will need tape to remount everything but what thickness should the tape be? I want to use Tesa 61395 Tape but I’m not sure which one to get. The pre-cut tape is out of stock (but even if it weren’t, how many of those would I need?)

What is your exact model? And what are you mounting?

It's the Mid 2012 Macboook Air 11". I'll have to dismount the bezel to get to the display cable and will need to remount it. I I'll need new tape to remount it.

It’s been awhile since I’ve done one. If you are good in threading a needle then you can replace the cable without pulling the bezel off

The displays logic board is held by two screws on the frame and the cable is just a clip on the logic board. After fully removing the display assembly and being careful you can just slide off the clutch cover to get to the cable and the hinge assembly and then carefully lift the tape covering the connector.

Review this vid to get a better idea MacBook Air 11" LCD replacement. You shouldn’t need tape if you use a heat gun (don’t melt the rubber!)

I would use the 4mm if you need it.
