Dropped MacBook black screen

touch bar shows brightness changes, esc, and volume but screen is black

What does the external display show? You'll need a USB-C to HDMI or VGA dongle to plug in your TV or monitor.

Try checking the display connector. it might’ve popped off. Also, check by connecting the macbook to an external display.
