Problem solved... I think?

I think i know the reason why my LittleBigPlanet 1 will not play… The disc has a crack on the back of the disc in the data section. All my other games work fine except this one, and the others don’t have this problem… Do I need to buy a replacement disc? What does this crack mean?

It's clearly broken, yes you need a new copy.
