will not power on

after replacing my screen and digitalizer my ipod will not turn on. when remoivng the screen on the top left corner an orange ribbon was cuz by glass just after the screw where its held in place. is this the reason as to why it will not power on??

michael, go this guide iPod Touch 4th Generation Front Panel Replacement and see if you can somewhere identify the cable in question. Are you saying it got cut when you removed the screen?

on step 12 u can see it next to the grounding wire its the orange ribbon. yes the glass was shattered in that corner n when removing the screen it was cut by the glass

you are correct apperantly it wasnt snapped together securely and now will power on tht the battery has died. but if it is my wifi cable that was cut how can i replace it?

That looks like your Wifi cable...recheck all of your connections and make sure (triple check) they are all seated properly. Also charge your iPod on an AC wall charger and see what happens. Yes, you can replace the cable. It is available at places like this. Good Luck to you and your iPod.
