Broken logic board header

Hey all,

I have a MacBook Air that's been refusing to charge and I noticed upon tearing it down that the 6 pin header for the I/O board has been ripped off the logic board, or at least that's what it seems. The header can be picked up to reveal 6 equal length pins soldered to the surface of the logic board. If I push down on the header with moderate pressure it completes the circuit and everything works. What are my options here?

You can use a 60W soldering iron to re-solder the header back to the logic board. Use some good flux and some 60/40 solder wire. It will not be that difficult even if you haven’t had any experience in soldering.
