Released November 2016, the PS4 Pro features upgraded hardware for 4K gaming and improved PSVR performance.

Why isn't my PS4 Pro disc drive recieving power?

Explanation: My PS4 Pro CUH-7015B was having trouble booting up discs. I resorted to using the tap method to get my drive to recognize a disc. I ordered a replacement drive and installed it on Thursday 16th (two days after system software 7.5). The new drive just didn't accept discs any longer. The eject button is still powered up and beeps. I assumed the replacement drive was no good. I put the original drive back in making sure to double check all ribbon cables and connections on the drive, as well as to the motherboard. Now my original drive no longer had power.

What should I look at next? The ribbon cables have since been cleaned with isopropyl alchohol. The motherboard looks clean from what I can tell.

Any help is appreciated.
