Can you please add some more information, like why did you change it, what do you mean with "nothing happens" (is it just totally black and not responding at all or do you see/hear anything?).
Add what you know about the problem and what may have caused it.
old battery was not holding a charge so replaced . once finished phone was blank when i plugged in the charger to test before closing it up. no response at all from the phone
