My iPhone won't turn on by itself even tho I changed my battery

A few weeks ago my iPhone 6 battery starts acting up, so one day my phone completely dies and wouldn't turn on so I try different chargers and it powers on but goes dead fast, last week I took it too get fixed and they gave me a new battery 5/6 hours later my phone dies again and the man from the store tells me I can't let my phone die or it won't power back on by itself and wouldn't explain too me why not does anyone know why? Or what's wrong??

Sounds to me like he sold you a temporary solution. If you use cheap chargers, you can damage the USB validator chip known as TriStar. When the battery completely dies, the chip won’t let the device charge it properly. Call around your other repair shops and ask if they have a TriStar tester. You can get one yourself but they run about $150.
