Help! Daughters Tab A Charging Port

All pins are squished. Charging port needs to be replaced. I'm good with software programming, done few hardware swaps but nothing needing soldering.

Where should I look to find someone reputable to replace the charging port??

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi,

Could you please verify the model number (SM-Tnnn?) of the tablet as some Tab A models have a USB on a modular flex cable whilst others are mounted on the systemboard?

If you have a SM-T350 then you could order the parts -supplier example only and then open the tablet using the ifixit Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 guide.

After that remove the systemboard and take it and the replacement USB port to any reputable, professional mobile phone repair service and get them to replace the USB port.

They will have the expertise and the tools to do this. As you have dis-assembled it and will re-assemble it afterwards this will save money on the repair because they don’t have to do this.
