Vertical Blue Line on Screen

I just got a new monitor, and as soon as I hooked it up to my PC, a thin vertical blue line appeared on the screen. I had previously had my PC hooked up to a tv, and never noticed any problems.

I have a Newsync X32OQG curved165 Hero HDR monitor, and I have a Geforce RTX 2070 Super graphics card.

I have already tried reinstalling my graphics card’s drivers. I have also tried switching HDMI cables. Both to no avail.

I’m pretty sure that the problem lies within the monitor because when I boot in safe mode it persists.

If o.k. with TV. Monitor is defective. New monitor? Should still be under warranty. Exchange it.
