Turns on blue, but then pops and dies.

I need help with my 2DS. I reseated the 2 yellow ribbons, readjusted everything, I basically tried everything. The camera ribbon was torn so I took part of it out. Initially I thought it worked because when I turned it on, it started flashing red (I haven’t charged it) like it was supposed to, but then I took out the other part of the ribbon (one attached to metal) and it stopped working and starting doing what I described in the title again.

Should I get a new camera ribbon and try to place it in, or is my 2DS done for?
