Extreme lag when not charging

Hello,

I have an IPhone 6s 64 GB with ios 11.4

I’ve changed my screen and battery on Jan 3rd and since then had some increasing problems with my phone. First it started lagging when battery dropped 20%. Then the lagging got severe and finally it started to constantly lag when not plugged in for charge.

I’ve run battery and cpu tests. They say battery is fine, however Battery Voltage drops dramatically in 10 minutes to 3.40~50 from 4.00 when it’s unplugged. CPU drops from 1800MHz to 911MHz also. I’ve not dropped my phone since the battery and screen change so that’s not an issue either.

Don’t know what to do. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the battery you have is of terrible quality. I had the same issue with a replacment battery, and using another from a different brand fixed it.

Noob question here: Can a battery be faulty while appearing 100% fine in battery health and 3rd party apps like Battey life?

It can yes, i had a battery at 100% which was so swollen the screen began to bend. Sucked.
