garmin nuvi 1390 stuck on boot screen

I have a garmin nuvi 1390 stuck on the garmin boot screen. I have tried resetting it by disconnecting and reconnecting battery, then holding the bottom right corner and powering up, which does absolutely nothing. Any takers?
