brenda moore which part are you tightening. The tie rod locknuts have a Tightening torque:
68.7—98.0 N·m {7.0—10.0 kgf·m, 50.7—72.3 ft·lbf} and the Tie-rod end 32—44N·m {3.2—4.5 kgf·m, 24.7—32 ft·lbf}
