Wich screws where?

Hello everyone,

I got a problem.

My brother wanted to turn his black iphone 4 in white iphone 4. He was doing good and exactly like the steps from ifixit.com.Source

He worked step by step and keep al the screws together with the pieces.

When he was at the last step(step 30) he did something stupid and all the screws went together. After this he don't know wich screws belongs where.

What to do now?

We got 26 screws here and don't know wich where to belong. please help !!

Follow the tutorial you listed backwards, you will see where each screw goes.

Oh nevermind now I see what you mean, you got them mixed up?

Ok, well best thing to do would be measuring and lining up the screws. If you look on the tutorial you will find some screws are bigger and smaller, if you see the sizes (ex 2.5mm or 1.6mm) you could try measuring them.

Also, in the tutorial you will see some heads are different than others and you will be able to tell which goes where by looking at that.

Best of luck, I really do not know how to explain or show you where which screen goes separately. Try finding out positively where each screw goes, and MAKE SURE, or else you could damage the motherboard or front LCD if you put a 2.5mm screw where a 1.4mm screw is supposed to go.

Good luck.

Make a big copy of an Iphone, cover the picture with doublesided tape, and as you start identifiying the screws stick them to the double sided tape lined picture.
