Why is my laptop not charging?

Today I have launch my laptop and noticed that battery is not charged. I have check the charger and it is okey. What could be the problem?

Carl Ian  if the charger is indeed okay then the next thing to check would be the battery and after that the DC-in jack. Start with the battery.
