Console power diode blinks for a second, then turns off.

As in the title, when I’m trying to turn the console on (with new, top brand batteries) the power diode blinks for a moment and then goes dead. I am sure it’s not caused by loose wires, dirty battery contacts, broken circuit paths or rust, as I cleaned the device after buying it. No parts look rusty or leaking either.

I’m afraid it could be an issue with resistors, as I heard they tend to burn, but I’m not sure.

i’m answering my own question, as i found the solution lol

turns out i just had to absolutely spam power switch for few minutes, so the contacts inside could clean a bit. and now it works perfectly fine! turns on every time. probably a little bit of IPA could also help.
