Board connector for speaker ribbon

Block Image

Alright I am looking to replace both the LCD and Speaker? board connectors.

It's the connector to the left of the LCD one with a thin white ribbon that goes down to the bottom connector just below the battery.

9 pin ribbon with I guess a 0.3 pitch?.

Anyone know where I can get these from? I have looked everywhere and can only find 0.5 pitch which is too big.

I have already taken both broken connectors off.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Thank you for your comment. Is this in regard to the smaller 9 pin connector and not the LCD connector?.

The links you posted are for 20P.

I checked findparts4u and they have 7P but not 9P.

At this time all I can tell you is that on the schematic for the T580 the connector is labelled as a 3708-003273. You may have to contact the sellers to verify the pins on that. We still need to know the exact model number for your Galaxy Tab A 10.1 That may or may not make a difference.

SM-T580 is on the label with the S/N

yes that is the schematic that shows this to be the right connector. Post some pictures of your connector vs a stock photo. I think I know what your concerns are

Currently, there is no connector on my board - it was damaged and removed.

I think I was mistaken - this is the home button ribbon right?.

The problem I got is trying to source this actual part - I've tried contacted quite a lot of places but no-one seems to have a 9P 0.4mm pitch FPC bottom contact connector lol

I think it may be possible to solder the ribbon directly to the board, otherwise, I think maybe a new mainboard/motherboard is the only option?
