Vertical line after screen replacement

I replaced a screen on an ipad pro 9.7 and all I have is a vertical green line.

This appears to be a damaged or defective replacement screen. Do you still have the original? if so, connect it to see if it works or has the same behaviour. Remember to always disconnect the battery first (and connect it last) when testing components or performing a repair.
