New battery and New HDD but still Red X

I’ve replace the battery and HDD from my other working 7th gen ipod. Both work fine butI’m still getting a red X.

Is there anything else I can try after replacing battery and HDD?

You have to follow this to set iPod to disk mode, then restore iPod from iTunes desktop.
