Overheating notification and WiFi not working

My sister got her phone battery replaced by someone and now it keeps saying its over heating and since the messages started showing the WiFi has stopped working, is there a fix to this

I think it could be coincidence that this happened after a battery change.

Your symptoms are of a Wi-Fi chip that has a short under it. This would be a costly repair. It would be more economical to upgrade your phone.
