The Track pad is sitting lower than it did,is this simple repair?

My trackpad is sitting lower in the frame than before but is still working. I do not want it to become unusable so is this a simple repair?

Options

The only way to "repair" this is the exchange of the whole topcase, as there are no servicable parts on it. Use it til it fails.
