Hi,

The short answer in No, the RAM is hard mounted on the systemboard.

I'm not surprised. The only native Chromebook I know of with modular RAM is the Acer C720.

The longer answer is there are models up to 8GB RAM so there may be empty pads where someone with the right skills and tools could add additional RAM or the existing modules could be swapped out. This is definitely for professionals only and the cost of having a professional do it would likely exceed the value of the Chromebook.
