Replaced lower ice maker test/reset button doesn’t do anything
My lower ice maker in the Samsung fridge broke a while back. I just replaced it. After unplugging the fridge, installing the new ice maker and then plugging the fridge back in, I pushed the test/reset button on the maker and nothing happens. Am I supposed to hear anything? How do I know it’s working? Just 24-48 hour wait? Should I assume the replacement ice maker is bad? I’m not getting any error codes. I don’t have the ice off button on.
(The top ice maker and water dispenser have always worked and continue to do so).
