Why wont my kenmore washer model 44722 fill up with water? Worked good before this.

Hi,
What is the full model number of the washer?
Have you checked that both the water outlet taps, hot and cold, that the washer is connected to, are opened?
Have you tried both a hot water and a cold water wash option to check if it fills or not?
If it only fills on one wash temp type e.g. fills on hot but not on cold then it may be a blocked filter in the end of the water inlet hose where it connects to the machine or a faulty water inlet solenoid valve in the machine.
If it doesn't fill with either hot or cold water it may be a faulty lid switch.

Hi,
If you search online for "Kenmore (insert full model number) parts" you'll get a list of suppliers for the parts. When you have selected a supplier and are on the appropriate to your model parts webpage search for lid switch to find the part.
However I suggest if you have a DMM (digital multimeter) that, with the washer totally disconnected from the power, you use its' Ohmmeter function to test if the switch is OK by proving continuity through the switch when it is operated, before ordering it in case it is not the problem.
Hopefully it is but I did say that it only "may" be the problem.
Here's what the lid switch -example only looks like found on this supplier's website BUT it may not be for your exact model as there are several 44722xxx models that is why the full model number is important
