MacBook Pro No backlight

Need help. My MacBook has no backlight. Everything else works perfect when connected to an external monitor. Even the brightness fn keys shows the brightness bars increasing and decreasing but the Mac screen stays black.

I used a multimeter and got 0v from the capacitors. And when I checked the fuse for connectivity I hear the buzzing noise from my multimeter. However, when I check one side of the fuse I get 13v and the other side shows 0v.

Can anyone help me diagnose my backlight issue. I’ll really appreciate any help. Thank you

Chosen Solution

Change the fuse. You shouldn't just get voltage on 1 side.
