Can I connect both my internal speakers to one output on mobo?

One of my internal speaker output sockets is broken so I’m wondering if it’s possible to wire both internal speakers to the same working output connection on the Motherboard? I know it’ll reduce the volume but will it blow the Mobo or the speakers too? Any help would be much appreciated as I can’t find anything online. Thanks

@herb69 yes you can do that and it should not harm your board. No more L&R channels (stereo sound) should be the only drawback

I'd go with parallel that way both speakers get the same signal and do not depend on each other.
