iPhone 6 home button - not sitting or pressing correctly

Hey hows it going I recently changed the lcd assembly on a iPhone 6

Now the home button feels loose to the touch when you press down on it, and it seems to be off centre.

can anyone help me remedy this problem?

screen is of reasonable aftermarket new quality

and home button just came off the other cracked lcd - -

have included pictures.

I believe the answer is in "reasonable aftermarket new quality"..you get what you pay for, glass hole is too large for the home button, not too uncommon these aftermarket replacements have small issues, especially years after the iPhone release. What's left in the market right now is mostly older B/C grades in big marketplaces.

Make sure that the small metal part has the black dot.

You could also try applying adhesive around the mesh of the home button if you haven’t already. This will allow it to stick more firmly to the screen.

what adhesive would be good to use i've got that thin red gummy adhesive would that suffice?

Yea, any type of double adhesive should do the trick.
