Hi,
Here’s a link to the ifixit Google Home guides.
This will help you to dis-assemble the unit and inspect it for any obvious damage etc.
If you see some damage and are not quite sure what to do or even if you don’t see anything, take some close up images of the motherboard (both sides if necessary) and post back here as someone else may spot something.
