Sliced Unknown Ribbon Cable

Hi,

While repairing an iPhone 8 I noticed a sliced ribbon cable in the very bottom left corner. I was repairing the screen and didn’t touch this area at all, the cable is still adhered to the bottom of the casing, just sliced in half. I’ve attached a photo, just wondering what this cable does? It doesn’t seem to lead anywhere and all the functions in that area work (vibration etc.). It may have already been ripped before the repair as it has been dropped lots, just like to know what it does?

Thanks

Looks like some kind of antenna grounding bridge might have an effect on the reception on 3G / 4G / Wi-Fi or GPS.

Not exactly sure which one it will be in particular if it is.
