iMac died. First internet cut off, then wont get off bootscreen at 100

Hello all,

My internet randomly cut off, then, i tried to restart and it just boots to 100% and never leaves the boot up screen. I did an update about 10 mins prior to the internet cutting off. It was DosDudes patch for me to run the new mac OS. Everything has been fine up until this point.

CMND R does not work, when I try that, it gives the circle with the line through it.

Any ideas on how to salvage this thing?

Do you have an external bootable drive (older macOS), I would give that a try.

straight from dosdude1.com:

Important Note:  10.14.4 and later CANNOT be patched properly using Mojave Patcher version 1.2.3 and older. If you update to 10.14.4 or later, and HAVE NOT updated your installer volume with version 1.3.0 or later of Mojave Patcher, you WILL NOT be able to get your system to boot after updating! Please read the updates section for more info.

i agree with Dan try an external bootable drive.
