The screen is not acting correctly

for some reason the screen goes to to a flickering black screen. then it some time goes to a green screen and starts to great out how do i fix it.

Hi,

Has the tablet been dropped or gotten wet at all?

If it has just been dropped (or even if it hasn’t) the problem could be a loose screen flex cable connection on the systemboard or perhaps the screen is failing internally and it would need to be replaced.

If it has gotten wet then you may have more problems which can only be addressed once the tablet has been opened and inspected. In the meantime, don’t turn it on or try to charge it as this may increase the damage to the components.

Here’s a link to the ifixit Galaxy Tab S 10.5 guide which shows you how to open the tablet so that access to the flex cable connection is possible so that it can be checked and if it is OK.

Here’s a link to a video that shows how to replace the screen if it is determined that that is the problem.
