My Sony A6000 keeps displaying “Lens not Attached”

Hi, this is my first camera and confused on why when I attached new Samyang 14mm F2.8 wide angle lens, display tells me Lens not attached? I cleaned contact on body and Lens. Lens is connected properly. Please help!!
