Follow the front panel replacement guide here:

When you get to steps 12 thru 18 you will see the home button and all you do is remove the home button itself and the ribbon cable / switch under the home button is adhered to the frame so use a spudger to unstick it, slide it out through the case and the new one slides in and is attached with adhesive.
