My iPod touch 6th gen is not working. It is doing weird stuff now...

Hang on, because this question is a long one! A couple of nights ago I was using my phone when it randomly shut off. I plugged it in, thinking it was the battery, and I went back to sleep. I woke up a couple of hours later and I checked my iPod. It still wasn’t turning on. So when I woke up in the morning, it turned on, but the wallpaper had turned white. My wallpaper was gone. I changed it back, and just ignored it as a simple glitch. But no, the same thing kept happening to me, until one day, while I was texting a friend, it just randomly shut off again. I tried to turn it back on or plug it in, but it didn’t work. I just left it there for a few hours, then it turned on again. But the time was in 24 hour format. I changed it back to 12 hour format. I went to go use Facebook when it crashed and uninstalled. Same with Messenger. It happened with every app! I tried to use chrome to look up what was going on, GONE. I stopped trying to use the apps and I tried to restart the phone. It didn’t turn on. Now what do I do?
